This feature is available on all modules of the Autoline system and allows the System Administrator to either prevent users from gaining access to, in this case, the Bodyshop Estimating module or, if prevent access is the current status, to restore the allow access status.
The Prevent / Allow Access feature can also display a list of users currently logged into Bodyshop Estimating. This is useful when deciding whether or not to prevent any further access, or to clear the Bodyshop Estimating control file of any users who had logged into the system but had not logged out correctly, and had therefore left a corresponding entry in the control file.
To access the Prevent/allow access form:
From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the Bodyshop Estimating option and Company required.
The BODYSHOP ESTIMATING main menu is displayed.
Select the System maintenance option.
The BE SYSTEM MAINTENANCE menu is displayed.
Select the Prevent/allow access option.
The Prevent/allow access form is displayed.
This form is displayed when you select BE SYSTEM MAINTENANCE menu from the BODYSHOP ESTIMATING main menu and select the Prevent/Allow access option.
From this form you can either display current users, prevent or allow access to the Bodyshop estimating module, or clear illegal users.
