Reset In Use Flags

This option resets the 'in-use' flags against files within purchase control. If you need to reset the in use flags for a different company you are given the opportunity to do this within the form.

Warning: This option should only be run after a system crash or failure and only when there are no other users in the Purchase Control Module or any of its options. It is generally run by the system supervisor. It should only be run after consultation with support personnel.

To access the Reset in use flags form:

  1. From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the Purchase Control Module and the Company you require.

    The PURCHASE CONTROL Menu is displayed.

  2. From the PURCHASE CONTROL Menu select the Systems maintenance option.

    The PC SYSTEM MAINTENANCE Menu is displayed.

  3. From the PC SYSTEM MAINTENANCE Menu select the Reset in use flags option.

    The Reset in use flags form is displayed.



Reset In Use Flags Form

The Reset in use flags form is displayed when you select the Reset in use flags option from the PC SYSTEM MAINTENANCE Menu.

To Reset In Use Flags

PUSH BUTTONS:

Exit: Returns you to the PC SYSTEM MAINTENANCE menu without resetting the In Use Flags.

Help: Displays help on the current application in your default company browser.

Reset: Resets the In Use Flags for the company you are in.

Note: Check which company you are in before proceeding with the reset or select Company Option.

Company: Resets the In Use flags for a particular Company.

Tip: Selection of the Company button invokes a pop up form, enter the company number you require to reset in use flags for and click OK, or Cancel to return to the Reset in use flags form.
