Statistics permissions can be accessed from Statistics view maintenance or CRM Statistic Options. When a statistics view has been created and generated permissions need to be set up enabling users to display the view in Statistics Tab.
Creating a New Statistic Permission
Click on New to enter details into the following fields.
User ID: Enter a valid users id or click on the to select a users id.
View code: Enter a valid Statistics view code or click on the to select a view. This field will be populated if accessed from the Statistics view maintenance.
View sequence: The system will default the next available view sequence for the user. The views can be Re-sequenced.
Default period type:Click on the to select 1 for the user to have the statistics in CRM default to a daily view or 2 for the user to have the statistics in CRM default to a period.
Period definition:Click on the to select 1 for the user to have the statistics in CRM default to a current period or 2 for the user to have the statistics in CRM default to a previous period.
Click Save.
To amend a statistics permission click on the open icon and load the view you require to change. Click on the Amend icon. The only options that are available to amend are the default period type and the period definition.
Copying and Pasting a Statistic Permission
There are options from the top tool bar that allows existing users permissions to be copied and pasted. The Copy to selected users performs the same function. To copy a permission load the users permissions and from the top tool bar select edit and copy. Take the option to close the existing users permission and click on New. Select edit and paste from the top tool bar
Copy to selected users allows an existing permission to be copied to one or more users. The option is available to copy the permission to a team that has been set up in Team Management. With a permission loaded in display or amend mode click on the copy to selected users icon. Click on the or enter the users id. Select all users that require this permission click on OK and the permission will be created.
Note: If a team have been set up and the whole team requires to view statistics in CRM then the option to copy to selected users will allow the teams name to be entered proceeded by a # e.g. # Team A.
When a permission is created the system will allocate the next view number available. If a user has several permissions for various views they may require these to be in a different order when listed in CRM. With a user's permission loaded (not in amend mode) click on the Resequence icon and the all the views available will display. Select a line and using the arrows move the lines to the order required. This option does not need saving back.
