This tab is part of the Ford Warranty Claim Information form. It contains information about any necessary costs covered by warranty. It might record, for example, costs incurred in providing a loan car or hiring a taxi.
The tab contains two parts. on selecting an expense line on the left, the Expense line details on the right change to display details for the selected expense.
Exp. code: A list of expense category identifiers applicable to the warranty claim
Expense line details:
Tip: Select an Exp. code to populate this group box.
Expense code: Matches the selected Exp. code
Description: The nature of the expense incurred
Note: A Description is only required for some miscellaneous codes.
Days: Number of days of hire car use
Note: Days is only required for hire car expenses.
Hours: The duration of the activity giving rise to the expense (for example the number of hours a taxi was hired)
Amount: The amount claimed
Line value: The total cost of the expense represented by the line
External expense invoice no.: Identifies any external supplier's invoice such as car hire
