You can use this Management interface to check what is happening to an inbound data file - such as a stock/parts order (IPA310) - generated by Autoline. A parts order submission that has been successfully delivered by the ebXML client can be considered to be at the DCS2 status of 20.
To check the status of an inbound data file:
From the GENERAL MOTORS OPERATIONS Menu, select the Exchange 1.1 option.
The Point-of-Sale Company selection form is displayed.
Select the (Aftersales) Point-of-Sale Company required.
The GM Exchange Transmissions and Receipts form is displayed.
This form is displayed when you select the Exchange 1.1 option from the GENERAL MOTORS OPERATIONS Menu, then the (Aftersales) Point-of-Sale Company required. It allows you to display the required inbound, or outbound transactions for the desired GM Exchange transaction types, and to check what is happening to an inbound data file - such as a stock/parts order - generated by Autoline.

Tools > Set Client Code Page Warning: Do not edit the code page parameter manually unless you are sure you know what it should be. Use with extreme caution!
Priority 8 or 9. Sets the Client Code Page in the GM Exchange parameters (the UTF8 language code page). This is the code page the Exchange software uses to encode the transmissions in to a UTF8 format. Converts non-ASCII characters in payload files.
Tools > Parameters and Controls Priority 8 or 9. Accesses the GM Exchange 1.1 Parameters and Controls Form to set up, or edit, GM Exchange 1.1 parameters and controls. Tools > Dealer Branch Mapping Priority 8 or 9. Accesses Dealer Branch Mapping. Note: This can be used to map the GM dealer code for one Aftersales company to another that operates as a satellite dealer.
A record should be created for each company that will be using GM Exchange.
Tools > View ebXML setup Priority 8 or 9. Looks at the set-up file on the Aftersales server and displays the CPA ID and Mime Content ID form. This option launches the GM Exchange daemon. It enables you to stop, or start the daemon and to view, or print, a log of its activities.
