Filtering Claims

You can filter claims by Claim number, Invoice number, Invoice date, WIP number, Registration or Account, and use the filtered list to find a claim that you want to reject or close.

To filter claims:

  1. From the General Motors Operations menu select the Warranty V2 option.

    The Service, Repair and Warranty Claims menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Warranty claims option.

    If there is more than one Point-of-Sale company on your Autoline system, a menu displays a list of them, from which you must select the one required.

    The General Motors Warranty Claims form is displayed.

  3. Select Tools > Reject claims or Tools > Close claims from the menu bar, depending on whether you want to locate claims for rejection or closure in the filtered records.

    The Reject Claims form or Close Claims form is displayed, its grid populated with all submitted (status 20) claims.

  4. Click Filter.

    The Filter form is displayed.

  5. Fill in your search conditions and click OK.

    If any claims of suitable status are found you are returned to the Reject Claims form or Close Claims form, with the grid populated with details of the claims matching your search conditions. If there are no matches, the system displays the message

    No claims found of a suitable status

Filter Form

This form is displayed when you click Filter on the Reject Claims form or Close Claims form.

Claim number From: Search for claims starting from this claim number

Claim number To: Search for claims up to and including this claim number

Invoice number From: Search for claims created from this invoice number onwards

Invoice number To: Search for claims created from invoice numbers up to and including this one

Invoice date From: Search for claims invoiced on or after this date

Invoice date To: Search for claims invoiced up to and including this date

WIP number From: Search for claims created from WIPs with this number onwards

WIP number To: Search for claims created from WIPs up to and including this number

Registration: Search for claims for repairs to the vehicle with this registration number

Tip: You can search on part of a registration number

Account: Search for claims invoiced to this account number

PUSH BUTTONS:

OK: Returns to the Reject Claims form or Close Claims form, with the grid populated with details of the claims, if there are any, matching your search conditions

Cancel: Abandons the search and returns to the Reject Claims form or Close Claims form

Reset: Resets all filter details to their defaults, enabling you to start again
