Note: This facility is available to Priority 9 users only.
To preview the submission file:
From the Autoline General Motors Operations menu select the Warranty V2 menu option.
The Service, Repair and Warranty Claims menu is displayed.
Select the Claim submissions option.
If there is more than one Point-of-Sale company on your Autoline system, a menu displays a list of them, from which you must select the one required.
The General Motors Warranty Submissions form is displayed.
Select View > Preview export file from the menu bar.
The Submission File Preview Form is displayed.
This form is displayed when you click the Preview claim submission file button 
or select the Preview export file option from the View menu on the General Motors Warranty Submissions form.
It shows the details of the information that is sent to GM regarding the claims displayed in the grid. The number of claims and lines in the batch is shown at the bottom of the form.
GRID:
Field name: Name of the field (as given by GM)
Field value: Value of the field
Start: Starting position of the field in the export file record
Length: Number of characters in the field value
End: Ending position of the field in the export file record
TEXT BOX:
Search string: Can be used for entering a string (case sensitive) that you want to locate within the submission file
PUSH BUTTONS:
Search:
Begins searching for the string entered in the text box
Find previous:
Finds the previous occurrence of the string entered in the text box
Find next:
Finds the next occurrence of the string entered in the text box
Close: Closes the form and returns you to the General Motors Warranty Submissions form
