The default reasons program defines what status codes are used at various stages within the recruitment system. The option is only available to a system administrator at priority 8.
Warning: The default reasons are set up by an Autoline consultant with the assistance of the human resources manager. The parameters should NOT be changed unless under guidance from a support consultant.
To access the Default Reasons:
The Human Resources Password form is displayed.
Enter your human resource password.
The HUMAN RESOURCES menu is displayed.
Select the Recruitment processing option.
The RECRUITMENT PROCESSING menu is displayed.
Select the Default reasons option.
The Default reasons form is displayed.
The Default reasons form is displayed when you select the Default reasons option from the RECRUITMENT PROCESSING menu. From this form you can amend the applicant and vacancy status defaults used within the recruitment system.
There are three tabs to complete.
Tip : For each default status code, click on the Drop down
to select from the applicant-vacancy status file.
Interview 1
Selection reason: Reason why an applicant is selected for at the interview stage 1.
Rejection reason (skill related): Reason why an applicant is rejected at interview stage 1 due to a lack of skills.
Rejection reason (excess salary): Reason why an applicant is rejected at interview stage 1 due to an excessive salary demand.
On Hold reason: Reason why an applicant has been put on hold instead of accepted or rejected at the interview stage 1.
Interview 2
Selection reason: Reason why an applicant is selected at the interview stage 2.
Rejection reason: Reason why an applicant is rejected at the interview stage 2.
On Hold reason: Reason why an applicant has been put on hold instead of accepted or rejected at the interview stage 2.
Interview 3
Selection reason: Reason why an applicant is selected at the interview stage 3.
Rejection reason: Reason why an applicant is rejected at the interview stage 3.
On Hold reason: Reason why an applicant has been put on hold instead of accepted or rejected at the interview stage 3.
Offer
Selection reason: Reason why an applicant is selected at the offer stage.
Rejection reason: Reason why an applicant is rejected at the offer stage.
On Hold reason: Reason why an applicant has been put on hold instead of accepted or rejected at the offer stage.
Offer confirmation/rejection
Reason accepted: Reason why an applicant accepted an offer.
Reason rejected: Reason why an applicant rejected an offer.
Expiry reason: Reason why an applicant offer expired.
Offer rejection
Reason declined: Reason why a vacancy record was declined by an applicant.
Expiry reason: Reason why a vacancy expired.
