Driving Licence Conviction Codes

The main functions of the driving licence conviction codes are to control and validate the data entered into the driving licence conviction records on the Driving Licence TAB of the human resources record and to allow for the driving licence conviction data to be purged off the system once no longer relevant for legal or insurance purposes.

The purging of driving licence convictions can occur via the Tools, Utilities menu or via the Timed operations menu option Remove expired driving licence convictions.

To access the Driving Licence Convictions :-

  1. From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the Human Resources option and Company you require.

    The Human Resources Password form is displayed.

  2. Enter your human resource password.

    The HUMAN RESOURCES menu is displayed.

  3. Select the Human Resources option.

    The Human Resources record is displayed.

  4. Once a human resource record is selected or initially chosen for creation select the Tools option.

  5. Select the Lookup tables option.

  6. Select the Driving Licence Convictions option.

    The Driving Licence Conviction Codes form is displayed.


Driving Licence Conviction Codes Form

The Driving Licence Conviction Codes form is displayed when the Driving Licence Convictions option is selected from the Tools, Lookup files menu.

Standard functionality exists that allows you to create and maintain records.

The data can be maintained further by using the Up and Down arrows to move codes around within the grid and also the Insert row, Delete row and Add row ICONs.

Code: The four character driving licence conviction code as advised by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA).See http://www.dvla.gov.uk/drivers/endorsem.htm for further information.

Years to keep conviction: The number of years a conviction is to be kept before being purged off the system.
