Updating Standard Menus

This is a printable report that updates the fixed price amount on standard MS menus. An update is typically performed after a parts price update. The report is sequenced in menucode order. When you run the report you are prompted to enter the hourly labour rate you want to use to calculate the fixed price.

The following details are summarised on the report:

An error message is generated on the report if the system cannot update an MS menu. There are three reasons why this may happen:

To update standard menus:

  1. From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the Stock management option and Company you require.

    The STOCK MANAGEMENT menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Miscellaneous options option and click OK.

    The SM MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS menu is displayed.

  3. Select the Update standard menus option.

    The Update standard menus form is displayed.

  4. Enter the hourly labour rate.

  5. Click OK.

    The menus are updated, if possible, and the report is printed to the currently selected printer.

Update Standard Menus (SM) Form

The Update standard menus (SM) form is displayed when you select the Update standard menus option from the SM MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS menu. From this form you can update the fixed price amount on standard MS menus.

Labour rate: Enter the hourly labour rate to be used to calculate the fixed price.

PUSH BUTTONS:

OK: Prints the report to the currently selected printer.

Cancel: Returns you to the SM MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS menu.

Help: Displays help on the current application using the default browser.

Schedule: Displays the Timed Operations scheduler.

Add to batch: Displays an Add report to batch form in which a report may be batched for printing in a report group.
