This report produces a list of all new vehicles in stock with an accounts status of C for consigned and where there is value in one or more of the ex-factory cost fields. The report is in model code sequence, and within model by stock number. This report is accessed either via the Sales reports or Accounts reports options on the VS REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu.
Each report requires slightly different information to be input.
The data printed consists of the following:
Vehicle stock number
Manufacturer's reference
Chassis number
Vehicle description
Consignment cost
Delivery cost
To produce a new consigned stock report:
Note: Ensure that a suitable printer is selected and is on-line.
From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the Vehicle stockbooks option and the Company required.
The VEHICLE STOCKBOOKS menu is displayed.
Select the Reports and enquiries option.
The VS REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu is displayed.
Do one of the following:
a. Select the Sales reports option.
b. Select the Accounts reports option.
Depending on which option is selected, the Sales Reports or Accounts Reports menu is displayed.
Select the Stock reports option.
The Stock Reports Menu is displayed.
Select the New consigned stock option.
You will get one of the following results:
a. If you selected the Sales reports option, the Consignment stock report (SLS) (VS) form is displayed.
b. If you selected the Accounts reports option, the Consignment stock report (ACS) (VS) form is displayed.
Complete the form and click OK.
A report status is displayed (if the report is printed) and, depending on which option you selected, you will get one of the following two results:
a. If you selected the Sales reports option, the Consignment stock report (sls) is output.
b. If you selected the Accounts reports option, the Consignment stock report (acs) is output.
Click the Close button.
You are returned to the Stock Reports Menu.
This form is displayed when you select the New consigned stock option from the Stock Reports Menu, having selected the Sales reports option from the VS REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu.
Output type: Enables you to specify the format in which the report is produced:
Print: Prints the report to the currently selected printer
Display: Displays the report
HTML: Outputs the report to file in Hyper-Text Mark-up Language (HTML) format, to be viewed via the default browser.
Note: The default setting for Output type is Print.
Date to Age From (Blank=Today): Enter the date or leave blank to include records up to today's date.
Select one of the following radio (option) buttons to determine how the report is sorted:
Sort by Days
Sort by Stock Number
Select one of the following radio (option) buttons to determine which price is displayed on the report:
Show Consignment Price
Show Selling Price
Enter Location (Blank=ALL): Enter the location or leave blank for all.
PUSH BUTTONS:
OK: Outputs the report in the selected format
Cancel: Returns you to the Stock Reports Menu
Help: Displays help on the current program using the default browser
Schedule: Displays the Timed Operations scheduler
Note: The Schedule option is not available when the Output type Display is selected.
Add to batch: Displays an Add report to batch form in which a report may be batched for printing in a report group.
Note: The Add to batch option is not available when the Output type Display is selected.
This form is displayed when you select the New consigned stock option from the Stock Reports Menu, having selected the Accounts reports option from the VS REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu.
Date to Age From (Blank=Today): Enter the date or leave blank to include records up to today's date.
Select one of the following radio (option) buttons to determine how the report is sorted:
