A vehicle record card will normally be created for the first time when the vehicle officially ordered.
The advantage of creating vehicle records as they are ordered is that it is possible to anticipate the flow of vehicles into the dealership and to reserve ordered vehicles for particular customers before the vehicle physically arrives at the dealership.
Note: The record card created has been allocated with the next sequential stock number.
To create a vehicle record:
From the menu bar, select either the
button, this will
display the New & Used selection criterea option, select whether you wish to create a New or Used.
Click the 
button on the tool bar.
This will allow you to create either a new or used record.
Proceed to fill in the fields displayed on the various tabs, on the Vehicle Administration form.
What do you want to do?
Open & amend a vehicle record.
Push a specification line to Point-of-Sale.
The Vehicle Administration form is displayed.
