Qualification has been introduced to allow a salesperson to qualify the customer's requirements and also to gather future marketing information at the same time as continuing with the enquiry process. Any information collected will be saved back and will also update the CRM Customer Extra details.
Tip: Anywhere in Autoline that a
Icon is shown it will be possible to display or edit the qualification.
Below is a link to each tab on this screen with a description of what each option contains.
Enter the details of the vehicle required, the next button will only be enabled when the minimum criteria is entered, New,Used or Ex-Demo?. Certain options will only be available when a used vehicle is selected.
New?:Is the vehicle required a new vehicle?
Used?:Is the vehicle required a used vehicle?
Ex-demo?:Is the vehicle required a Ex-demo?
Franchise:Once a selection has been made above use the Ellipsis button to select the required Franchise of the vehicle.
Model: Once a selection has been made above use the Ellipsis button to select the required Model of the vehicle.
Variant: Once a selection has been made above use the Ellipsis button to select the required Variant of the vehicle
Description: The description will be defaulted from the variant selected.
Colour: Use the Ellipsis button to select the required colour.
Trim: Use the Ellipsis button to select the required trim.
Options: Enter the desired factory options on the vehicle, separated with a / character.
Body style: Select a body style (e.g. saloon, hatchback, estate, etc.)
Fuel: Select a fuel type (e.g. petrol, diesel, etc.)
CC range from and to: Enter a range for the engine capacity in hundreds of cubic centimeters (e.g. 2.0lt = 2000cc). Fill in both the minimum and maximum or leave both as zero to find all vehicles regardless of the engine capacity.
Price range from and to: Enter a range for the purchase price. Fill in both the maximum and minimum or leave both as zero to find all vehicles regardless of price. Alternatively, use the monthly budget fields above.
Doors: Enter the number of doors on the vehicle. Leave as zero to find all vehicles regardless of number of doors.
Transmission: Select the transmission type (e.g. automatic, manual, etc.)
Referred MVRIS code: Code allocated by the government for the apportioned tax banding.
Registration No: Enter Registration number. Used selection only.
Minimum Mileage: Enter minimum mileage. Used selection only.
Maximum Mileage: Enter maximum mileage. Used selection only.
Age (Max): Enter maximum age in years. Used selection only.
Minimum Mileage: Enter minimum mileage.
Note: The minimum information needed to complete a qualification is either New,Used or Ex-Demo?.
This tab is split into two sections, Finance and Enquiry
Payment method: Use the button to search for a method.
Monthly budget: Enter customers monthly budget if known.
Period of loan: How long is the loan for?
Deposit: How much deposit if any ?
Finance rate:What is or will the finance rate be?
Enquiry date: Defaults with today's date or use the Ellipsis button to search for a date.
Purchase type: Use the to search for a type e.g. P Private or C Company.
Required from: Use the Ellipsis button to search for date.
Required until: Use the Ellipsis button to search for date.
This tab is split into two sections, Trade-In vehicle and Existing Finance
Registration: Click the ellipsis to search for an existing trade-in vehicle or enter the registration directly if known.
Tip: If entering a registration directly without using the ellipsis button you will need to use the Return button on your keyboard and not the Tab button
Franchise: Use the to select the required Franchise.
Model: Use the to select the required Model.
Franchise: Use the to select the required Variant.
Description: The description will be defaulted from the variant selected.
Date of registration: Enter the registration date by clicking the Ellipsis button and selecting the required date from a calendar..
Mileage: Enter the Trade-in's mileage.
Customer valuation: Enter the value that the customer thinks their vehicle is worth.
Date of value: Enter the valued date by clicking the Ellipsis button and selecting the required date from a calendar.
Type: Use the to select the required type e.g. CASH.
Period of loan: How long does the loan have left to run, In months.
No of payments already made: In months.
Monthly repayment amount: Monthly amount paid.
Amount borrowed: Total amount borrowed.
Cost to settle: Enter finance settlement amount if known.
Marital status: Select the marital status of the customer i.e. Single.
Customer group: Select the group of the customer i.e. Retired
Demographic Code: Select the demographic code for the customer i.e. No children
Age range: Select the age range of the customer
Buy cycle: Enter the number of months that the customer will purchase another vehicle i.e. 36.
Number of dependants: Enter the number of dependants of the customer.
Number of vehicles: Enter the number of vehicles that the family current drive.
Family income: Enter the family income if know.
Interests: Double click on the grid to display the list of Interests of the family. You may select up to 10 interests.
Hobbies: Double click on the grid to display the list of Hobbies of the family. You may select up to 10 interests.
Customer search: Enter the surname of the partner if know, or click on the ellipses to search for the partner.
Title: The title field will populate when a partner has been selected, however you can enter the partners title i.e. Mrs.
Initials: The Initials field will populate when a partner has been selected, however you can enter the partners initials if known.
Surname:The Surname field will populate when a partner has been selected, however you can enter the partners surname.
Button: Children Click on the Children button, you will be able to add by right clicking on the Magic/Name line and searching for the children's record. To remove any lines right click on the line and select remove.
Internet access: Click the radio button Yes if the customer has internet access and No if the customer has not got access to the internet.
Listens to radio: Click the radio button Yes if the customer has listen to the radio and No if the customer does not listen to the radio button, this will enable the Radio Stations option.
Radio Stations: Enter up to three radio station that the customer listens to.
Weekend Papers: Enter up to three Weekend Papers that the customer reads.
Daily Papers: Enter up to three Daily Paper that the customer reads.
Local Papers: Enter up to three Local Paper that the customer reads.
Other Media: Enter up to three Media options that are relevant to the customer.
Enter any extra notes that are relevant to this customer
Warning: The option that does not update Extra Details on the CRM customer record. These stay purely on the Qualification details
Menu Icon Description File > Exit Returns you to the Showroom Customer Enquiries Menu. Edit > Customer details This option can be used to pre load or create the customers details by using the CRM Search, once a customer has been selected it can be retained to be used in a enquiry. If a customer is loaded the Clear Customer icon will be enabled. Edit > Clear customer details This option is only enabled if a customer record has been loaded, click the icon to remove the customer information from the memory. Edit > Trade-in Trade in will only be enabled if a customer has been selected an then only if that customer has a current vehicle that is known to Autoline. Edit > Change finance company As with Customer Details this option will store required Finance Companies / schemes for use later in an enquiry. Edit > Backoffice mode Enables/disables Backoffice mode. Edit > Including VAT Enables/disables the inclusion of Value Added Tax in prices for vehicles and options. On forms which list such prices, the window title bar displays the current setting, either 'Including VAT' or 'Excluding VAT'. View > Previous Navigate back to the previous form. View > Next Next will only be enabled when the minimum criteria is entered, New,Used or Ex-Demo? and will then continue with the quote process. Tools > Lock workstation Locks the current session. This can be used to prevent unauthorised access while a terminal is left unattended. A password can be set and is required to unlock the session this is set in the Guest tab of User details in the System Utilities module. The lock can also be initiated by pressing CTRL+ALT+Z. Tools > Advanced This option will only be enabled when the minimum criteria is entered, New,Used or Ex-Demo? and will then display the Used Advanced Search or New Advanced Search screen. Tools > Custom Entry Custom entry can be used to create a quotation for a vehicle that is not in the current stock or franchise data. Help > Help Displays this help page. Alternatively, press F1.
