The Customer Enquiry - Quick Start Enquiry form is displayed when you click the Quick start button from the Showroom Customer Enquiries form.
Within this option the customer can provides the sales executive with an estimate of the customer budget. This amount will then be the starting point of the quotation process. This information will be used by the sales executive to search through the database and locate a vehicle within the given budget.
Add Trade-in: Click the Add Trade-in button to create new trade-in or add an existing one.
Trade-in offer: Trade-in offer is not manually editable and will only display a offer price once a trade-in has been entered.
Trade-in required: Defaulted once a Trade-in has been added. This is can be amended if you have the neccessary priority.
Autoline can calculate the finance settlement if the following fields are entered. They will only be enabled once a trade in has been entered.
Period of Loan: Enter the original period in months over which the loan was taken.
Months paid: Enter the number of months in which full payments have been made.
Current repayment: Enter the monthly instalment amount to be repaid each month.
Amount borrowed: Enter the original loan amount borrowed.
Cost to settle early: Once the calculate button has been selected this will display the cost to settle and at this point can not be amended. It will only be editable if using the exact radio button.
Calculate radio button: Sets the criteria entered to calculate the early settlement value to the nearest penny.
Exact radio button: Allows you to enter an exact amount for an early settlement.
Note: The Calculated settlement may be a few pence out. You will not know the exact amount until you speak to the finance company that owns the vehicle that the customer is trying to Trade-in.
Enter the following values to allow the system to calculate the available budget for the customer.
Desired Monthly payment: Enter the amount the customer wishes to repay each month.
Weekly Equivalent: Enter the amount the customer wishes to repay on a weekly basis.
Note: Entry of a figure into either one of the above two fields results in the automatic calculation of the other. Neither of the above fields will be effective without the completion of the field, Period of Loan.
Deposit available: Enter the amount of cash that the customer has to spend. This figure will be added to the budget figure.
Sale code: Enter the interest rate required.
Period of Loan: Enter the term over which the loan is to be taken, expressed in months.
Tip:Once an enquiry has been stored it can be recalled using the Find Customer Enquiry option, it will be referenced Quick Quote
Menu options and Buttons:
Menu Icon Description File > Store these details This option will only display once there are any details to be stored. Edit > Customer details Load or display customer details. Edit > Clear customer details This option is only enabled if a customer record has been loaded, click the icon to remove the customer information from the memory. Edit > Finance company As with Customer Details this option will store required Finance Companies / schemes for use later in an enquiry. Edit > Backoffice mode Enables/disables Backoffice mode. Edit > Including VAT Enables/disables the inclusion of Value Added Tax in prices for vehicles and options. On forms which list such prices, the window title bar displays the current setting, either 'Including VAT' or 'Excluding VAT'. View > Previous Navigate back to the previous form. View > Next The next option will only be enabled once all relevant details have been completed and will display the options to attach either a New Vehicle or Used Vehicle to your enquiry. Edit > Lock workstation Locks the current session. This can be used to prevent unauthorised access while a terminal is left unattended. A password can be set and is required to unlock the session this is set in the Guest tab of User details in the System Utilities module. The lock can also be initiated by pressing CTRL+ALT+Z.
