Creating Claims

There are two ways to create a claim:

• Auto-creating claims

• Manually creating a claim

Whichever method you use to create a claim, to be valid a WIP must meet one of the following sets of conditions:

EITHER:

• The franchise letter is the same as the one set up in GM Parameters and Controls

• There is at least one parts line that has a quantity greater than zero

• It has a valid part number

• It has been invoiced to a warranty account

• It not been used in any other submission

OR:

• There is at least one labour line that has an allowed time greater than zero

• It has a valid RTS code (if parameter has been set)

• It has been invoiced to a warranty account

• It has not been used in any other submission
