Amending a Claim

Note: You cannot amend a claim that you have already submitted to Volvo. A warning is given if a claim has previously been submitted.

To amend a claim:

  1. From the VOLVO UK OPERATIONS menu, select the Warranty option.

    The VOLVO UK WARRANTY menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Warranty claims option.

    The system prompts you for the Point-of-Sale (SO) company.

  3. Select the SO company and click OK.

    The Volvo UK Warranty Claims form is displayed.

  4. Enter the WIP number and press the TAB key.

    Tip: Click the Ellipse button [...] to search for a WIP by repair order, invoice number, chassis number, registration number or WIP number.

    The system defaults the claim details into the form.

  5. Amend the claim as necessary.

  6. From the File menu, select the Save option.

    The system saves the changes to the claim.
