After the supersession records have been uploaded into the Mercedes-Benz Supersessions file in the Stock Management, before supersessions can be identified by other modules they must be processed into every company in the Stock Management module.

This form is displayed when you click Manufacturer systems (Module) and MB. Mercedes-Benz (Company) > Menu - Parts > Supersession creation.
Note: With the Use MB supersessions parameter, you can select for which company the Mercedes-Benz supersessions is used. Depending on this selection the Choose standard Autoline supersessions or Mercedes Benz supersessions form is displayed when starting the Supersession creation function. In this form you can choose if you want to open the standard supersessions or the Mercedes-Benz specific supersessions. Starting the Supersession creation will run the Mercedes-Benz specific supersessions program, when all companies are selected in the Use MB supersessions parameter.

Supersessions Found For Processing Grid:
Partnumber (Old): Defines the old part number.
Type: Defines the supersession replacement code.
Partnumber (New): Defines the required new supersession number.
Qty: Defines the available stock quantity for the new supersession part.
Description Describes the supersession part.
Sixth column: Defines the status of the supersession line.
Green Tick
: The record is correct for processing (the new part number exists in the price file).
Black Dot
: The record is already processed (a stock management supersession record exists).
Red Cross
: The new part number is not found in the MB-price file.
Seventh column: Defines the found conflict.
Yellow Exclamation
: The record conflicts with another part in the MB-price file.
Looping
: The record runs in a loop.
Eighth (last) column: Defines the source of the supersession record may originate from the following sources:
:The supersession record was created manually.
:The confirmation order program created the supersession record.
:The supersession record is created from the supersession import file.
Note: When copying the grid (Ctrl + right-click in the header) the pictures of the last three columns are copied as text.
Check supersessions to be processed for SM company:
Check supersessions to be processed for SM company: Select to make sure you will process the displayed supersessions for one Stock Management company. Clear to filter on all companies.
Note: Availability of a stock company depends on the Use MB supersessions parameter.
Process supersessions: Process all supersession lines into the Stock Management system.
Filter on:
Correct for processing (new part number exists in the price file).
Already processed (stock management supersession record exists).
Not in MB-pricefile (new part number is not found in the MB-price file).
Conflict, will replace existing C22 or C23
Will cause a loop

- Only (New) part in stock (check on the parts that are only in stock file)
Manufacturer partnumber: Manufacturer part number format, without the Autoline Franchise letter.
Creation date - from: Supersession from creation date selection.
Creation date - to: Supersession to creation date selection.
Select the items within the Filter on area.
Clicking the Filter toolbar button refreshes the Supersessions found for processing grid based upon the selected filter criteria.
Note: When you want to clear a selection you need to remove all the ticks in the Filter on area and click the Filter toolbar button.
Clicking the Add toolbar button displays the create new supersession form.
Complete the Create new supersession form.
Click the Create button to create a new MB-supersession record.

The create new supersession form consists of
Fields:
Partnumber from: Defines the part number (Manufacturer part number format, without the Autoline Franchise letter) to be used as the basis for the creation of a new supersession record.
Partnumber to: Defines the part number (Manufacturer part number format, without the Autoline Franchise letter) to be created.
Supersession code: Defines the supersession replacement type to be created.
21: Optional supersession
22: Straight supersession
23: Together with supersession
99: Together with supersession
Factor: Factor in case the number of parts increases by superseding them.
Button:
Create: Create a new Supersession record in the MB-supersessions table based upon the entered create new supersession form.
Clicking the supersession line that you want to delete highlights it as selected.
Clicking the Delete toolbar button deletes the selected supersession record from the MB-supersessions table.
Clicking the supersession line that you want to process highlights it as selected.
Clicking the Process selected line toolbar button processes the selected supersession into the Stock Management system.
Clicking the Process supersessions processes all of the available supersessions into the Stock Management system and displays the Processing supersession form.
Select the Process button to commence the processing of the supersessions into Stock Management.
