Before you can use the interface you need to set up the following parameters for working with the MBKS, VAF/VG, VKL and GIOVE interface into VSB.
What do you want to do?
Access Mercedes-Benz parameters
Change the Country code field in the General VSB parameters
Change the fields of the Options tab of the Franchise data parameters
Change the MBKS Customer export parameters
Change the MBKS Import parameters
Change the Add optioncode in description field in the MBPLUS parameters (if available)
To access the Mercedes-Benz parameters
Select from the Main menu the Manufacturer System option, combined with the concerning company.
The Mercedes-Benz Main Menu is displayed.
Select from the Mercedes-Benz Main Menu, the Menu - Utilities option.
The Mercedes-Benz Utilities menu is displayed.
Select from the Mercedes-Benz Utilities menu the Mercedes-Benz parameters option.
The Mercedes-Benz parameters configuration utility form is displayed.
The country number is only relevant for the import of the order files from VAF/VG.
You need to set up the General VSB parameters for the concerning VSB companies.
To change the Country code field in the General VSB parameters
Select from the Project parameters area the General VSB parameters, which are located in the Sales group.
Select in the preferred Vehicle stockbook company.
Click Amend.
Complete the Country code field of General VSB parameters and click Save.
You need to set up the Franchise data parameters for the concerning Franchise codes.
To change the fields of the Options tab of the Franchise data parameters
Select from the Project parameters area the Franchise data parameters, which are located in the Sales group.
Select in the preferred Franchise data company.
Select in the preferred Franchise code record.
Click Amend.
Complete the Franchise data parameters and click Save.
You need to set up the MBKS Customer export parameters for the concerning VSB / Showroom companies.
To change the MBKS Import parameters
Select from the Project parameters area the MBKS Customer export parameters, which are located in the Sales group.
Select in the preferred Marketing company.
Click Amend.
Complete the MBKS Customer export parameters and click Save.
You need to set up the MBKS Import parameters for the concerning VSB / Showroom companies.
To change the MBKS Import parameters
Select from the Project parameters area the MBKS Import parameters, which are located in the Sales group.
Select in the preferred Vehicle stockbook / Showroom company.
Click Amend.
Complete the MBKS Import parameters and click Save.
You need to set up the MBPLUS parameters for the concerning Franchise codes.

Change the Add optioncode in description field in the MBPLUS parameters (if available)
Select from the Project parameters area the MBPLUS parameters, which are located in the Sales group.
Select in the preferred Franchise data company.
Select in the preferred Franchise code record.
Click Amend.
Complete the Add optioncode in description field of MBPLUS parameters and click Save.
