BATCH.csv Summaries

Following a successful import the system will first load the tyre data file into a working area in Kestrel and present the output in a form. Selection of the Edit Batch command button enables an imported tyre transaction batch file to be edited i.e. to rectify certain key fields for particular records. This is presented in a fashion that allows the data contents and values to be reviewed in two sections: records that have matched and validated successfully; records that are unmatched or failed validation. These sections are based around key tests that are carried out automatically by the system when imported. These tests are as follows:

Note: For successfully matched items the system sets the MATCHED field to Matched else Not Matched. Where a transaction fails a key test a reason for the transaction not being matched populates a Mismatch Reason field:

Each record will be annotated with the Batch Number, Year, and Import Date. This to be used for Invoice Posting and matching process.

For each of the (matched or unmatched) sections the system displays an overview of the total for the number of records and invoice amounts in each. A single-left-click on either the Matched or Unmatched Items grid row in the form displays the Matched Item Summary or Unmatched Item Summary form as appropriate.
