Web Auto-Approval Parameters (General Tab)

Overview

Used to define general top-level system defaults for the Web Auto Approval process.

To access the Web Auto-Approval Parameters (General Tab):

  1. From the Master Menu, select the Maintenance Control option and Company required.

    The Maintenance Control menu is displayed.

  2. Select the System Maintenance option.

    The System Maintenance menu form is displayed.

  3. Select the Web Auto-Approve Rules option.

    The Web Auto-Approval Parameters form is displayed.

  4. Select the General Tab.

The following fields are displayed:

Allow Web Approvals: A checkbox which, if selected, denotes that the Web Approvals functionality is to be used.

Check Labour Rates against accounts records: Checks the labour rate for the supplier against the labour rate held against the Rates group box held in the Repairer Tab of the associated address group.

Allow web-user to change reason text: Supplier must use the reason codes defined within the ADP system. However, the text asscociated with the reason code can be overtyped.

Use Maintbook values: Enables the Maintbook Tab with its additional parameters.

Minimum Rejection Value: System automatically authorises approvals for less than the minimum value entered here. The invoices is automatically passed and cannot be rejected.

Maximum Auto-Approval Value: Maximum value a supplier can enter for an individual approval.

Odometer Variance Tolerance %: Approval is put on hold (and not authorised) if the odometer reading entered by the supplier does not fall within the given percentage from the last known odometer reading.

Number of days to check back for duplicate item: If the system finds that the same RTS code has been used within the number of days entered within this field then the system puts the approval on hold.

Distance to check back for duplicate item: If the system finds that the same RTS code has been used within the distance entered within this field then the system puts the approval on hold.
