The System Parameters set-up form is used to define top-level system defaults for the module.
What do you want to do?
To access the System Parameters form:
From the Master Menu, select the Maintenance Control option and Company required.
The Maintenance Control menu is displayed.
Select the System Maintenance option.
The System Maintenance menu is displayed.
Select the System Parameters option.
Tabs:
General Tab: Used to define general top-level system defaults for the Maintenance Control module.
General 2 Tab: Used to define additional general top-level system defaults for the Maintenance Control module.
Service Schedules Tab: Used to define top-level system defaults specifically for the Service Scheduling function.
POS Trans Tab: Used to define top-level system defaults specifically for Point of Sale or internal company workshops.
Web Auto-Approve Tab: Used to define top-level system defaults specifically for Web Maintenance function.
Maintenance Costing Tab: Used to define general top-level system defaults for the Maintbook interface.
Reports Tab: In many parts of the system an administration option is now available within the menu bar and tool bars. Amongst other options the administration facility enables access to a Quick Reports facility. This displays a list of user-defined reports applicable to the current process. Once written within RepGen reports may be selected for inclusion within this menu list within the Reports Tab.
Overdrive Tab: The Overdrive development is intended to allow a user to have maintenance authorisations and invoice payments handled by Overdrive. The maintenance control function will function almost as normal, although each time an approval is raised an overdrive card number is required, and overdrive suppliers need to be used. The approval is sent electronically to Overdrive, who respond with an electronic notification of payment. If overdrive is being operated then this tab must be completed.
epyx Tab: Used to define top-level system defaults for the Epyx functionality.
Tyre Import Tab: Used to define top-level system defaults for the Tyre import functionality.
Inv. Reg. Tab: Contains invoice tolerance levels.
Buttons:
Exit: Returns to the System Maintenance menu.
Help: Provides online access to context sensitive help for the current application using the default browser.
Save: Saves the new values for the system parameters.
Cancel: Cancels the amendment process and returns to the System Maintenance menu.
