Overview
This enables a new agreement record to be created. The contract may be created manually (via a manual input wizard) or by importing an existing quotation from the Kestrel Quotation system (FQ).
What do you want to do?
To access the create contract option:
From the Master Menu, select the Fleet Kompact option and Company required.
The Kestrel Kompact Menu is displayed.
Select the Contract Management option.
The Contract Management form is displayed.
Select the
icon.
The Create Contract form wizard is displayed so that a new agreement may be created by way of either an existing fleet quotation or manual input.
This form is split into four parts that are as follows:
Title Bar
In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar provides a number of other useful identification criteria and buttons.

Create Contract Dialogue Box
This area of the form simply consists of the following two mutually exclusive option buttons:
Fleet Quotation: Displays the Quotation Search form in order that an existing Fleet Quotation may be located and retrieved as the basis of the new agreement.
Manual Input: Manual input process is available for the input of values that are pre-calculated via an external source. A series of the following five forms are displayed in the form of a wizard prompting entry of the correct data for establishing a valid agreement:
Customer: Enables selection and display of the required CRM company record and associated primary customer and driver.
Vehicle: Enables selection of the appropriate vehicle variant and specification details and associated values.
Contract Details: Enables selection of the required leasing product profile, excess distance values and associated product services.
Rentals: Enables entry of the product split values and budget values.
Summary: Displays a summary of the details entered within the previous four forms.
COMMAND BUTTONS
The following command buttons are available for use:
Back: Returns to the previous form within the manual input wizard sequence. (A check is performed to validate that a valid value is contained within mandatory fields).
Next: Moves to the next form within the manual input wizard sequence. (A check is performed to validate that a valid value is contained within mandatory fields).
Note: Following completion of the five input forms within the wizard this command button becomes the Finish command button and when selected a form is displayed stating Agreement ??? is created (where ??? is the new agreement number).
