This form is displayed on selecting the Ford Technical ID mapping option from the Warranty file maintenance menu. It enables the editing of a file that maps user login IDs to their point-of-sale service receptionist and/or technician identifiers.
Ford requires the mechanic's Ford PIN to be entered for warranty work to ensure that only those qualified to carry out work do so. The Technical ID mapping file enables the necessary mapping of the mechanic's code on the labour line to his FORD PIN in the GWE user file.
