You can set the standard labour rate for mechanical claims.
To set the mechanical labour rate:
From the General Motors Operations menu select the Warranty V2 option.
The Service, Repair and Warranty Claims menu is displayed.
Select the Warranty claims option.
If there is more than one Point-of-Sale company on your Autoline system, a menu displays a list of them, from which you must select the one required.
The General Motors Warranty Claims form is displayed.
Find the claim whose labour details you want to check or edit.
You are returned to the General Motors Warranty Claims form populated with details of the selected claim.
Click the General Motors logo button.
The General Motors Warranty Claim form is displayed.
Click the Mechanical labour rate ellipsis button .
The GM Warranty Mechanical Rates form is displayed.
If the labour rate you require is shown in the grid, click the corresponding Select box.
A tick appears in the Select box.
Tip: If the labour rate you require is not shown in the grid, enter it manually in the Use another rate box.
Click OK.
The mechanical labour rate is set and you are returned to the General Motors Warranty Claim form.
This form is displayed when you click the Mechanical labour rate ellipsis button on the General Motors Warranty Claim form. It enables you to set the standard labour rate for mechanical claims.
GRID:
Mechanical rate: A labour rate for normal warranty work
Select: If this check box is selected, the corresponding labour rate is used.
Use another rate: Manually enter a rate here if the correct rate is not shown in the grid.
