Trouble Codes

You can specify the reason work was required for a claim.

To set the trouble code:

  1. From the General Motors Operations menu select the Warranty V2 option.

    The Service, Repair and Warranty Claims menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Warranty claims option.

    If there is more than one Point-of-Sale company on your Autoline system, a menu displays a list of them, from which you must select the one required.

    The General Motors Warranty Claims form is displayed.

  3. Find the claim whose labour details you want to check or edit.

    You are returned to the General Motors Warranty Claims form populated with details of the selected claim.

  4. Click the General Motors logo button.

    The General Motors Warranty Claim form is displayed.

  5. Click the Trouble code ellipsis button [...].

    The Trouble Codes form is displayed.

  6. Select the trouble code you require and click OK.

    The trouble code is set and you are returned to the General Motors Warranty Claim form.

Trouble Codes Form

This form is displayed when you click the Trouble code ellipsis button [...] on the General Motors Warranty Claim form. It enables you to specify the reason work was required for this claim.

PUSH BUTTON:

Add code: Enables you to add a new trouble code to the list

Tip: You can use the General Motors Warranty File Maintenance form to delete or amend Trouble Codes.
