The Delete human resource records option is only available if your human resources priority matches or is greater than the priority to delete human resource records.
The main function of the Delete human resource records option is to allow for the main human resource and associated data to be deleted if created in error, for example, if an applicant decides at the last moment not to take up their employment.
To access the Delete human resource records option:-
The Human Resources Password form is displayed.
Enter your human resource password.
The HUMAN RESOURCES menu is displayed.
Select the System maintenance option.
The SYSTEM MAINTENANCE menu is displayed.
Select the Delete human resource records option.
The Delete human resource records form is displayed.
The Delete human resource records form is displayed when the Delete human resource records option is selected from the SYSTEM MAINTENANCE menu.
First select the human resource record for deletion by searching on Surname or Employee number.
Note: You can only access records subject to your location security.
You will then be prompted Are you sure you want to delete the human resource records for employee ###### company ## ?, this will default to No, select Yes to delete otherwise No to keep the human resource record and associated data.
Associated data files purged are as follows:-
Achievements.
Calendars.
Change Control audit.
Disciplinary.
Driving licence convictions.
Job History.
User Files.
