The system maintenance menu contains the advanced priority options used to set up the Human Resources system. Only a priority 6+ Human Resources user may enter the menu.
The HUMAN RESOURCES SYSTEM MAINTENANCE menu is displayed when you select the System maintenance option from the HUMAN RESOURCES menu.
Prevent/allow access: Prevent/allow access.
Passwords: Security record maintenance.
Edit user file definitions: Maintain the main definition of user files.
Edit user dictionaries: Maintain the detailed layout of user files.
Edit location codes: Optional human resources system location code maintenance.
User profiles: An option used to control access by users to the Human Resources and associated records.
TAB and field definitions: An option used for security.
Delete human resource records: An option used to delete a single human resource record.
Default human resource record: An option used to maintain the default human resource record, typically this is set up before human resource records are created.
Default vacancy record: An option used to maintain the default vacancy record, typically this is set up before vacancy records are created.
Default applicant record: An option used to maintain the default applicant record, typically this is set up before applicant records are created.
System parameters: An option used to set up the human resources system parameters.
System controls: ADP only option used to set up the human resources system controls.
Calendar triggers: Maintain calendar triggers used to generate warning messages, EMails and reporting of user defined absence patterns.
Company spec. holiday params.: Maintain payroll company specific holiday parameters as an option to just using system parameters to define the holiday year end and entitlement.
Generate payment rates: Generate payment rates for existing calendar data following set up.
File usage statistics: File usage.
Verify files: Verifies the database files.
Reset in use flags: Resets the database files.
