Description: A 30 character description.
Grade: Grade of the job code but not used for security access. If the job code is not to be linked to any particular grade the grade may be left blank.
Salary Min: The minimum salary on offer for the job code.

Allow excess: Tick if the recruitment process is to allow an applicant to be processed even though their salary demand is in excess of the maximum salary for the job code.
Skill Min: The minimum skill match % expected from an applicant when being data matched within the recruitment system.
Note: If the minimum skill match % has not been met by an applicant it does not prevent an applicant being recruited.
Interviews: The number of interviews to take place for this job code.
Interview length: The length in minutes for a typical interview for this job code, this time is used within the diary and recruitment system when processing an applicant or vacancy.
Other options from the job code form are as follows:-Notes: Document archive notes about the job code - these will be stored in the document archive module.
Edit Groups: Employment Group Code maintenance.
Edit Skills: Job skills.
Edit benefits: Job benefits.
Absence location check: If the human resources system parameter called Absence checking is ticked and the human resources system parameter for Absence location checking is set to J - Job code specific and the human resources system parameter Location security setting is set to either PN - Use human resource Locations or GB - Use Global Locations, then this field is available for use on calender entry data matching as follows:-
Blank: No - employees with the same job code regardless of location are checked.
Ticked: Yes - employees with the same job code and location are used for the absence check.
Absence threshold: If the human resources system parameter called Absence checking is ticked this field is available. Enter between 0 and 100%. Any non 0% figure entered on the job code record will replace the system parameter of the same name. This is the threshold percentage that must ideally not be exceeded having checked employees of the same job code and possibly location as the current employee when entering calendar data. For example, if there are 4 MOT testers and the absence trigger is 50% then it is only when the 3rd MOT tester is being recorded as absent will a warning be shown.
