This form is part of the sequence of forms for creating a new vehicle quotation. See the New Vehicles section for instructions and general tips on this process.
Exact matches of vehicle variants are displayed together with basic information (number of doors, body style, engine capacity in CCs and fuel type) for each vehicle. Any similar matches are displayed simultaneously by performing a Find Similar Settings Search (if installed) for used, new or stock vehicles. The price for each vehicle variant may also be displayed, depending on Salesperson settings.Note: Depending on the number of variants, price calculations can delay this form, therefore this option may not have been enabled in some circumstances.
Only one vehicle variant can be selected by left-clicking on the corresponding line. If using VSB mode, two extra lines are displayed at the bottom of the vehicle variant list. These are Custom Entry Vehicle for manually entering a vehicle and Change to Used vehicles.
Vehicles are colour-coded on this form:

Description |
| Red | Vehicles are in dealer stock and can be ordered. |
| Blue | Vehicles are in stock but cannot be ordered. If a date is displayed along with the description, this is the date on which this variant went out of production. |
| Magenta | Vehicles are not in local stock but are available in IMS Vehicle Tracking. |
| Black | Vehicles are not in dealer stock and so must be ordered. |
Use the Advanced search from the View menu to display the More Search Criteria form. Alternatively, click the 
toolbar icon.
Tip: By accessing a stock vehicle first, any prices and specification for that vehicle will be retained. If you want to re-select a price book enquiry to pick up the prices and specification for today's date you need to exit and re-enter the showroom search before selecting the pricebook enquiry. Otherwise, select the re-price option on the final summary screen which allows you to select the required specification date.
If pictures have been set up (for the selected model and/or model variants in the Franchise Data module) they are displayed in left-hand pane, with larger views available by right-clicking on the vehicle variant line.
