You can edit claims before you download them to the DCS system. When the download has taken place, no further amendments are possible through Autoline, and editing should be done by using the DCS software.
To amend a claim:
From the GENERAL MOTORS OPERATIONS menu, select the Warranty option.
The Warranty Menu V1 menu is displayed.
Select the Warranty option, and enter the Point-of-Sale (SO) company number if you are asked for it.
The GM Warranty form is displayed with the Details tab active.
Enter the Repair order number and press TAB.
Tip: You can click the Ellipsis button 
to search for the repair order.
The claim details are displayed in the form grid.
Select File > Amend from the drop-down menu or click the Amend 
button.
The header details fields are made available for editing.
Amend the claim as necessary and then select File > Save from the drop-down menu or click the Save 
button.
The changes you have made to the record are saved.
Tip: If you want to leave the record without saving your changes, Select File > Close from the drop-down menu or click the Close 
button.
