This is normally set up as a Priority 5 option used by Support, and runs as part of the End-of-Day process. If the orders are not cleared overnight, this option can be run to check exactly why clearance did not work. There is an order retention parameter, beyond which, all completed orders have their SO.dgord records deleted. Records are removed from the RE.MS.dgord data file (the file displayed when you select Maintain orders from the Dialogys Menu).
To clear orders from a menu:
From the RENAULT OPERATIONS Menu, select the Dialogys option.
The Dialogys Menu is displayed.
Select the Consolidate orders file option.
Two options are displayed:
Abort
Clear-Orders
Clicking Cancel returns you to the Dialogys Menu.
Do one of the following:
Select Abort to cancel and return to the Dialogys Menu.
Select Clear-Orders and return to the Dialogys Menu.
Having read the parameters for each company, the system retains records based on the value for the Retain order days parameter. The system removes records where the Date created is less than today's date less the retention number of days.
