Deleting a Claim

The following routine allows you to delete a claim record. When you delete a record, the WIP/Invoice is made available for creation of a new claim.

To delete a claim:

1. From the VOLVO UK OPERATIONS menu, select the Warranty option.

   The VOLVO UK WARRANTY menu is displayed.

2. Select the Warranty claims option.

   The system prompts you for the Point-of-Sale (SO) company.

3. Select the SO company and click OK.

   The Volvo UK Warranty Claims form is displayed.

4. Enter the WIP number and press the TAB key.

   Tip: Click the Ellipse button [...] to search for a WIP by repair order, invoice number, chassis number, registration number or WIP number.

   The system defaults the claim details into the form.

5. From the File menu, select the Delete option.

   The claim is deleted.

Creating a New Claim
