Resubmitting Claims

Note: It is unlikely that you will ever use the functionality described in this topic to resubmit claims. You will normally retransmit files to Volvo via the Transmit files routine.

If there is a problem with the submission of a batch of claims, you may be required to resubmit the batch. In order to do this, you must reset the submission date and resubmit the claims via the standard submission routine.

To resubmit a batch of claims:

  1. From the VOLVO UK OPERATIONS menu, select the Warranty option.

    The VOLVO UK WARRANTY menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Warranty claims option.

    The system prompts you for the Point-of-Sale (SO) company.

  3. Select the SO company and click OK.

    The Volvo UK Warranty Claims form is displayed.

  4. From the Tools menu, select the Reset option.

    The system displays an electronic diary.

  5. Select the date on which the claim batch was previously submitted.

    A dialog box is invoked displaying the following message:

    Reset all submissions since [date]

  6. Click OK.

    A further dialog box is displayed indicating the number of claims reset.

  7. Click OK.

    The claims are now available for resubmission to Volvo.
