When you have created warranty claims, you must submit them to Volvo. This is a two stage process. You must first download any outstanding claims from the Autoline system to an export file and then transmit the file to Volvo.
During the download of claims, you are given the option to print a list of claims that you are submitting. It is recommended that you print this list.
Note: The same file name is used each time you submit a batch of claims. If a file already exists, the system adds the claims to the existing file. Alternatively, you can transmit the existing file to Volvo before you submit a new file from Autoline.
To submit a batch of warranty claims:
The VOLVO UK WARRANTY menu is displayed.
The system prompts you for the Point-of-Sale (SO) company.
The Volvo UK Warranty Claims form is displayed.
The system displays a window prompting you to select the claim types that you want to submit.
A dialog box is invoked displaying the following message:
Submit claims
A further dialog is displayed with the following message:
Print claims? No Yes
Note: It is recommended that you print a list of claims before you submit them to Volvo.
The claims are submitted from the Autoline system and the following message is displayed:
[No.] records submitted. OK Cancel
You are returned to the Volvo UK warranty claims form.
You are returned to the VOLVO UK WARRANTY menu.
You are returned to the VOLVO UK OPERATIONS menu.
