The price file software enables you to update the Autoline system with price or supersession data issued by a manufacturer or parts supplier. Currently, GM price data is converted to a format recognised by Rev.82 and Rev.83 Autoline systems, and is supplied on behalf of Vauxhall by the Data & Software Integration (DASI) department at ADP Dealer Services UK Ltd. The data is normally uploaded to the Autoline system via ISDN, after which a franchise-specific report (titled G.M.- Price Update inc T/Club) is run to update the parts stock file with the updated price details, including trade club. For further details, refer to Uploading a Data File via ISDN.
On set-up, and each time a new release of price or supersession data is made available, you must upload the data to the Autoline system. GM price data is normally uploaded via ISDN. On set-up, this is normally carried out by, or on advice from, an Autoline consultant. Thereafter, it is normally the responsibility of the dealership to keep files up-to-date.
This menu is displayed when you select the Parts price file menu option from the GENERAL MOTORS OPERATIONS menu. From this menu you can update the Autoline system with a new release of price or supersession data.

This is normally set up as a priority 8 option.
