Volvo makes available partial price (N10) and supersession (N11) updates on a daily basis, and full price (N12) and supersession (N13) updates periodically.
When the Volvo PRICE system submits updates, Autoline converts the files into a mirror file in a temporary holding directory and automatically updates the Master Price File from the mirror file. In the event of a problem with scheduled events, MS Support will advise you to update the price file manually.
Warning: If the automatic upload and conversion programs are in operation, you do not need to carry out this task. You must not update the price file unless advised to do so by MS Support.
To update the price file manually:
From the VOLVO UK OPERATIONS Menu, select the DSP option.
The VOLVO UK DSP Menu is displayed.
Select the Parts stock price update option.
The system prompts you for the Point-of-Sale (SO) company if there is more than one.
Select the SO company if applicable.
The Price and supersession update form is displayed.
Click Update to update the Master Price File, stock file, and supersessions file if available.
The system updates the files, then displays a dialog box with the following message:
Update complete ok.
