If Autoline goes down at any time during the day, the Scheduled Events that submit and retrieve files to, and from, the host system, will not run. In this event, MS Support will advise you to upload or submit files manually. This is normally carried out by the System Manager.

Warning: If the automatic upload and convert programs are in operation, you do not need to carry out this task. You must not run the Upload option unless advised to do so by MS Support, so that you do not duplicate files on your system.
In the event of a problem with the automatic upload and conversion of files, MS Support will advise you to upload files manually from the host machine to the Autoline system and convert them into the correct file format.
If you experience a problem with the manual upload and conversion, error messages are displayed. For further details, see Troubleshooting.
To upload and convert files manually:
From the VOLVO UK OPERATIONS Menu, select the DSP option.
The VOLVO UK DSP Menu is displayed.
Select the Scheduled jobs option.
The system prompts you to select the Purchase Control (PC) company if there is more than one.
Select the PC Company if applicable.
The DSP Upload Options form is displayed.
Click Upload.
The system displays a list of files available for upload:
GN11
Select the file type that you want to upload.
The system starts to upload the files and displays a dialog box with the following message: Files uploaded okay
Click OK.
Note: If the system displays a message that indicates an upload error, report the error immediately to MS Support. See also: Troubleshooting
Click Convert.
A dialog box is displayed with the following message: Files converted okayClick OK.
This form is displayed when you select the Scheduled jobs option from the VOLVO UK DSP Menu. It enables you to upload and convert files manually in the event of a problem with Scheduled Events.
Warning: You must not run the Upload option unless advised to do so by MS Support, so that you do not duplicate files on your system.
PUSH BUTTONS:
Upload: Allows you manually to upload specific files or all available files in the event of a problem with the scheduled upload. This is normally performed by the System Manager and is a Priority 8 option.
Convert: Allows you to convert uploaded files manually to the correct file format in the event of a problem with the scheduled conversion. This is normally performed by the System Manager and is a Priority 8 option.
Reject: Allows you to reject manual stock orders in the event of a problem with the scheduled submission and is normally set up as a Priority 8 option. As Volvo UK does not supply manual stock orders, this option is not used.
Exit: Returns you to the VOLVO UK DSP Menu.
Help: Displays 'help' on the current program using the default browser.
