This report lists all new vehicles with an accounts status of A for adopted or C for consigned, an ex-factory cost other than zero, and an adoption date earlier than the cut-off date input at run time. The report is in Franchise code order and within that it is sequenced by vehicle adoption date. If there is more than one vehicle with the same adoption date, it is sorted by Model, and within Model by Variant.

The age of the vehicle is calculated based on the date input at the prompt Input ageing cut-off date minus the adoption date and, conditional on that age, the stock value is placed in one of the columns as follows:

To produce a Vehicle Age (New) Stock Value Report:
From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the Vehicle stockbooks option and the Company required.
The VEHICLE STOCKBOOKS menu is displayed.
Select the Reports & enquiries option.
The VS REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu is displayed.
Select the Report generator option.
The REPORT GENERATORmenu is displayed.
Select the Run report generator option.
The Report selection form is displayed.
Select the K15 Vehicle age (New) stock value option from the drop-down list and click OK.
The Vehicle age (New) stock value form is displayed.
Complete the form and click OK.
The report is compiled and output in the selected format.
This form is displayed when you select the K15 Vehicle age (New) stock value option from the drop-down list on the Report selection form and click OK.
Output type: Select an output type for the report from one of the following:
Print: Prints the report to the currently selected printer
Display: Displays the report
HTML: Outputs the report to file in Hyper-Text Markup Language (HTML) format, to be viewed via the default browser
Note: The default setting for Output type is Display.
Input ageing cut-off date: Input ageing cut-off date, or use the ellipsis button to search for a date
PUSH BUTTONS:
OK: Outputs the report in the selected format
Cancel: Returns you to the REPORT GENERATOR menu
Help: Displays help on the current program using the default browser
Schedule: Displays the Timed Operations scheduler (not enabled when the output type is set to Display)
Add to batch: Displays an Add report to batch form in which a report may be batched for printing in a report group (not enabled when the output type is set to Display)
