The SC REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu is displayed when the Reports & enquiries option is selected from the STOCK CHECKING Menu. In the REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu, the fact that the Rev.8 Stock Checking module is structured round a database approach to business applications stands out most clearly. These are the facilities for the Ad-hoc enquiries option and the pre-set reports.
Note: The usual pre-set reports are described in this topic, but the flexibility of configuration in Rev.8 may result in your system having extra pre-set options in the menu.
Report generator: The facilities of the Report Generator sub-system are common to all Rev.8 software applications. These facilities allow you to create your own reports from any combination of the fields on your records. Additionally a number of standard ready to run reports are provided.
Ad-hoc enquiries: The facilities of the Ad-hoc enquiries are common to all Rev.8 software applications. These facilities allow you to create simple queries of your own. Additionally a number of standard file enquiry options are provided.
Stock discrepancy report: Gives details of all discrepancies within the count.
Rough sheet reports: Gives details of all rough sheet information.
Superseded parts report: Gives details of parts within the count that have supersession information.
Variance rep (inc rough sheet): Gives details of any variances in the stock check (including on the rough sheets).
Rechecks report: Gives details of any rechecks (including on the rough sheets) in the stock check that meet the criteria you have set.
Franchise specifics: Franchise-specific reports are sometimes made available as part of a standard manufacturer set-up. This option displays a menu containing any reports available to your franchise. By default the menu has no entries.
