During the day, the Autoline system records amendments on the stock file. A scheduled event automatically compares the current stock file with the mirror files, submits the differences to the Volvo DSP system in a stock amendments file (D32), and overwrites the mirror file on the Autoline system with the updates. This file is normally submitted to Volvo between 2.30 p.m. and 3.30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
In the event of a problem with the scheduled event, MS Support will advise you to submit the D32 file manually to Volvo.
To submit a D32 file manually:
Warning: You must only manually submit a file to Volvo on advice from MS Support.
From the VOLVO UK OPERATIONS Menu, select the DSP option.
The VOLVO UK DSP Menu is displayed.Select the Movements and setup option.
The system prompts you for the Point-of-Sale (SO) company number if there is more than one.Select the SO company if applicable.
The DSP Options form is displayed.
Select the Stock amendments (D32) option.
The Extract button is enabled.
Click Extract if you want to extract and send the file to Volvo.
The following options are displayed:
Create-stock-amendments-file. This creates and sends the stock amendments file.
Clicking Cancel returns you to the DSP Options Form.
Do one of the following:
Select ABORT to abandon the file extraction and return to the DSP Options Form.
Select Create-stock-amendments-file.
If you selected Create-stock-amendments file, the following message is displayed:
Generating stock amendments extract file.
On completion, the system submits the file and returns you to the DSP Options Form.
Note: In the event of a problem with the submission, Autoline generates an e-mail describing the error.
