Deleting a Service Notification

The following routine allows you to delete a service notification record. When you delete a record, the WIP is made available for creation of a new notification.

To delete a service notification:

  1. From the VOLVO UK OPERATIONS menu, select the Service notifications option.

    2. The system prompts you for the Point-of-Sale (SO) company.

  2. Select the SO company and click OK.

    3. The Volvo Service Notification form is displayed.

  3. Enter the WIP number and press the TAB key.

    4. Tip: Click the Ellipsis button [...] to search for a WIP by chassis, WIP or registration or number, or to identify unsubmitted records.

    The service notification details are defaulted into the form.

  4. Click the Delete button.

    5. A dialog box is invoked displaying the following message:

    Are you sure?

  5. Select OK.

    6. The service notification is deleted.
