The Output Tab within the primary Ratesbooks form is used to generate and display the calculations for the ratesbook.
The contents of this form are dynamic and dependent upon the selections that have been made within the Details, Products, Finance, Vehicles and Options Tabs. A number of the following data columns are displayed dependent upon the required selection criteria that has been selected:
Displays the full franchise description either imported from the default data source or, for those Vehicles that are created manually, the description which has been entered in the Full Name field (Main Details Tab in the Franchise Details menu option within the Franchise Data module). The franchise is only displayed when the form starts to display options for a new vehicle.
Displays the full model description either imported from the default data source or, for those Vehicles that are created manually, the description which has been entered in the Description field (Details Tab in the Model Codes menu option within the Franchise Datamodule) The franchise is only displayed when the form starts to display options for a new vehicle.
Displays the full vehicle variant description imported from the default data source or (in the case of Vehicles which are created manually) the description which has been entered in the Descriptions: VSB/SR field. (Details Page 1 Tab in the Model Variants menu option within the Franchise Data module). The franchise is only displayed when the form starts to display options for a new vehicle.
If the Show Options checkbox is selected/ticked this column will also display each factory fitted option record held against a particular vehicle variant.
If the Show DFAs checkbox is selected/ticked this column will also display each dealer fitted accessory record held against a particular vehicle variant.
Standard options are also displayed in this column provided the Show Standard Options checkbox is ticked.
Denotes the type of option/accessory displayed in the previous column. Current available option types/accessories are as follows:

Optional
Special
Dealer Extra
If the Show List Price checkbox is selected within the Details Tab a column is displayed showing the manufacturer's list price for the vehicle
If the Show Option/DFAs checkboxes are selected within the Options Tab then this column also displays the manufacturer's list price for factory fitted option/dealer fitted accessories.
If the Show P11D checkbox is selected within the Details Tab a column is displayed showing the vehicle "P11D" cost.
If the Show Options/DFAs checkboxes are selected then this column also displays the P11D price for the option/dealer fitted accessories.
If the Show OTR checkbox is selected within the Details Tab a column is displayed showing the vehicle "On The Road" cost.
If the Show Options/DFAs checkboxes are selected then this column also displays the OTR price for the option/dealer fitted accessories
If more than one Product Type is selected from within the Products Tab then a column is generated to display the Product Code e.g. CHWM.
If the Show Rental Splits checkbox is selected within the Details Tab a column is displayed showing the Product Split Code. i.e.:
F Denotes that the following columns contain the finance element of the regular rental value for each selected finance profile. M Denotes that the following columns contain the maintenance element of the regular rental value for each selected finance profile.
The number of columns displaying the profile/annual mileage is dependent upon the number of profile/mileage selections entered into the Profile Confirmation List Box.
The top column header for each of these columns displays the finance profile code (set up within Miscellaneous Options / Finance Management / Finance Profiles for those profiles selected within the ratesbook.
The bottom column header for these columns displays the annual mileage taken from the Profile Confirmation List Box.
The data contained in the Profile/Annual Mileage columns is dynamic and dependent upon the selections that have been made within the Details, Products, Finance and Vehicles Tabs. A selection of the following data is displayed dependent upon the required selection criteria that has been made:
- Vehicle Regular Rental
Displays the regular rental for a vehicle variant for the particular profile/mileage displayed within the column header.
If the Show Rental Splits checkbox is selected within the Details Tab then a number of lines are generated within the column for each vehicle variant record.
The first line displays the monetary value for the first Product Split portion of the regular rental value (for the selected finance profile) e.g. the Finance Element of the regular rental.
A line is then generated, if applicable, displaying the monetary value for each subsequent defined Product Split (for the selected finance profile) e.g. the Maintenance Element of the regular rental.
The final line displays the Total regular rental value for the selected finance profile (this is highlighted in bold text).
- Option/Accessories Regular Rental
If the Show Options/DFAs checkboxes are selected within the Options Tab then this column also displays the regular rental value of the option/accessory for the selected finance profile.
If the Output Tab contains more selection criteria (e.g. Finance Profiles) than the box can display, the form presents a Scroll Bar which can be operated in a number of ways:
Following selection of the Output Tab the
icons become available for manipulation of the output data.
