The Fleet System Parameters set-up form is used to define top-level system defaults for the module.
Note: This option may only be edited within Company Zero.
What do you want to do?
To access the System Parameters form:
From the Master Menu, select the Fleet System Management option and Company required.
The Fleet System Management menu is displayed.
Select the System Maintenance option.
The System Maintenance menu is displayed.
Select the System Parameters option.
The form is split into four areas which are as follows:
In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar provides a number of useful buttons.
The top of this dialogue box displays the following details:
Module Identifier: Displays the code for the module that is currently being accessed i.e. FM (Fleet System Management).
Company Identifier: Displays the company number for the company that is currently being accessed e.g. 00. This option may only be edited within Company Zero.
This area beneath is divided into a series of eleven Tabs, each containing a number of default values applicable to a certain area. These Tabs are as follows:
Details Tab: Used to define general top-level system defaults for the Fleet System Management module.
Address Details Tab: Used to determine which ten address group slots are to be automatically allocated within Address Groups.
RPI Tab: Used to determine parameters relating to the retail price indices process.
Nominal Control Tab: Used to determine at which level nominal ledger postings are made.
Priorities Tab: Used to determine what priorities are required to view or edit the specific Tabs within Address Groups.
Document Archiving Tab: Used to determine the Document Types that scanned documents may be stored against within the Document Management process.
Reports Tab: In many parts of the system an administration option is now available within the menu bar and tool bars. Amongst other options the administration facility enables access to a Quick Reports facility. This displays a list of user-defined reports applicable to the current process. Once written within RepGen reports may be selected for inclusion within this menu list within the Reports Tab.
Short Text: Enables the creation and editing of short user-defined data fields against the motor record.
Tip: Each of the fields contained within this tab may then be accessed via the Additional Data form accessed via the
icon (or Additional Vehicle Data option from the Tools menu) within Fleet Agreement Review.
Long Text: Enables the creation and editing of long user-defined data fields against the motor record.

icon (or Additional Vehicle Data option from the Tools menu) within Fleet Agreement Review.
Dates: Enables the creation and editing of user-defined date fields against the motor record.

Numeric: Enables the creation and editing of user-defined numeric fields against the motor record.

icon (or Additional Vehicle Data option from the Tools menu) within Fleet Agreement Review.
COMMAND BUTTONS:
Exit: Returns to the System Maintenance menu.
Help: Provides online access to context sensitive help for the current application using the default browser.
Save: Saves the new values for the system parameters.
Cancel: Cancels the amendment process and returns to the System Maintenance menu.
