If you regularly upload or download files from or to a remote server or client (PC, CD-ROM or floppy disk), the generic file transfers program enables you to perform the transfer manually or as a scheduled event (timed operation). It enables you to send an e-mail or a file attachment to an individual or mail group, and purge (delete) files after a file transfer. It also enables you to also see who performed the last file transfer, the date and time of the transfer, and whether or not it was successful.
