This menu is displayed when you select the Advice note menu option from the VOLVO UK DSP Menu. It enables you to carry out all the tasks related to advice note and order processing and to set up your Autoline system.
Advice note maintenance: Allows you to view or print stock orders; view supersessions, quantity adjustments and backorders; view or print advice data, or link advice data to Purchase Control in order to update the purchase records and produce exception reports. This is normally set up as a Priority 5 option.
Parameters: Allows you to maintain the advice note parameters. This is normally set up as a Priority 8 option.
Parameters table edit: Allows you to edit advice note parameters for each POS company. This is normally set up as a Priority 9 option.
Franchise parameters edit: This is normally set up as a Priority 9 option. Not required.
Advice note controls: This is normally set up as a Priority 9 only. It controls the indexes of advice notes.
Advice note file: This is normally set up as a Priority 9 option. It enables only Support to edit the Advice Note file.
Exceptions report: This is normally set up as a Priority 5 option. It enables you to produce a full list of all items classed as exceptions (shows the entire file), not just parts lines exceptions for a particular GRN.
