Specification Tab [New Vehicles]

The Specification tab for new vehicles displays all items being sold, including associated selling prices and costs. When a new vehicle is created, the vehicle price line and delivery line is displayed, as well as any default options from franchise data. You can also add other options.

Date effective: The system uses this date to look up a specific data set of option and prices from franchise data.

• Factory-Fitted Option: Options available, fitted at the factory
• Colours: List of colours. Only one can be selected.
• Trims: List of trims. Only one can be selected.
• Dealer-Fitted Options: Options available, fitted by the dealer and other items to be passed to the customer - for example: Registration fee
• Extended Warranty Options: A list of warranties available that can be manufacturer standard or dealer-specific
• Non-Recoverable Costs: Costs passed on to the customer
• Insurance: Insurance schemes available
• Packs: Accessory packs of multiple accessories, but sold as a single item available

Tip: If you have large quantities of options, you can search for your options, rather than scrolling down possibly hundreds of options.

SPECIFICATION GRID:

The columns in the specification grid are:

S: N for Normal; T for text; F for FOC

Product Description: Vehicle details

A: Analysis code

S: Source code

Value: Value including VAT

V: VAT Code

VAT: Amount of VAT

Cost: Either estimated, or actual, cost

Tip: Select from the drop-down menu, under the Date effective field, to select from the following list. When selected, options are displayed. The shortcut menu is displayed when you right-click on any specification line. The following options are available:

SPECIFICATION GRID RIGHT-CLICK MENU:

• Amend/Display line

• Product Notes/Supplier Notes. (If installed.)

• Attach to P/O

• Transfer line out/Undo transfer

• Select for invoice

• De-select from invoice

• Push to POS

• Pull from POS

• Insert text line

• Move line

• Delete line

• Select all

Note: The sales gross and costs to the vehicle are displayed at the bottom of the specification screen.
