Because you can transfer files both to and from the computer systems specified in the file transfer record, you must specify in which direction the transfer operates.
To specify the transfer direction:
Note: This process continues from entering FTP information using the wizard or setting API chunk size using the wizard, depending on the transfer method selected. If you select a transfer method of Copy, this procedure is not used.
Select the file transfer direction and click Next.
The Autoline Path/Filename tab replaces the Direction tab.
Continue by following the instructions for setting the path and filename.
This tab is not user-selectable. It is one of a series displayed, each in turn, on the File Transfer Creation Wizard. It is displayed when you click Next on the API copy tab.
Note: If you select a transfer method of Copy, this tab is not displayed.
It enables you to select the file transfer direction.
GET: Retrieves a file from the PC terminal or remote server from which the transfer is run and stores it in your Autoline system
PUT: Sends a file from your Autoline system to the PC terminal or remote server from which the transfer is run
Tip: Previously mapped drives on the PC can also be accessed.
