File Transfer Creation Wizard: Transfer Direction

Because you can transfer files both to and from the computer systems specified in the file transfer record, you must specify in which direction the transfer operates.

To specify the transfer direction:

Note: This process continues from entering FTP information using the wizard or setting API chunk size using the wizard, depending on the transfer method selected. If you select a transfer method of Copy, this procedure is not used.

  1. Select the file transfer direction and click Next.

The Autoline Path/Filename tab replaces the Direction tab.

  2. Continue by following the instructions for setting the path and filename.

Note: If you select a transfer method of Copy, this tab is not displayed.

It enables you to select the file transfer direction.
