The post-transfer email facility enables you to configure Autoline to send an email when a file transfer completes, notifying recipients about the success or failure of the transfer.
Email recipients must be in your Autoline Administrator address book. External email addresses cannot be used.
To set up post-transfer email:
Note: This process continues from setting post-transfer file purging.
Use the Select required action drop-down button to select the email action automatically carried out when a file transfer completes.
If you select an action other than N Never, the Edit e-mail details... button is enabled. (If you then re-select N, it is made inactive.)
If you selected an action other than N Never, click Edit e-mail details... and complete the E-mail Details form.
You are returned to the E-mail options tab.
Click Next.
The Timed functions tab replaces the E-mail options tab.

This tab is not user-selectable. It is one of a series displayed, each in turn, on the File Transfer Creation Wizard. It enables you to set Autoline to send an email when a file transfer completes, notifying recipients about the success or failure of the transfer.

Select required action: Email action automatically carried out when a file transfer completes. One of:
A Always mail: Sends an email regardless of the success or failure of the file transfer
F Mail only on failure: Sends an email only if the file transfer fails
S Mail only on success: Sends an email only if the file transfer succeeds
N Never: Does not send an email regardless of the success or failure of the file transfer
Tip: Use the drop-down button
to select the required action.

Edit e-mail details...: Enables you to set or edit email operations
Help: Displays this help page in a web browser
Cancel: Returns you to the File Transfer Editor
Back: Returns you to the preceding tab in the wizard's sequence
