To set the path and filename:
This process continues from setting the transfer direction and from setting the Autoline Path/Filename tab for an API transfer using the wizard. Because the same basic form is used for setting the PC path and filename and to setting the remote system path and filename, it continues also from setting the Autoline path and filename, all of which use this same procedure.
Enter the path and filename.
Tip: Click Validate to display an expanded combined path and filename in Validated name.
Click Next.
When you click Next on the Autoline Path/Filename tab, the Remote path/filename tab (in an FTP or a Copy transfer) or the PC path/filename tab (in an API transfer) replaces it. Repeat this procedure (the process is identical).
When you click Next on the Remote Path/Filename tab or on the PC Path/Filename tab, the Autoline Post-Transfer Action tab replaces it. Continue by following the instructions for setting Autoline post-transfer actions.
This tab is not user-selectable. It is one of a series displayed, each in turn, on the File Transfer Creation Wizard. It has different titles:
As the Autoline Path/Filename tab, it is displayed when you click Next on the Direction tab, enabling you to specify the file in Autoline.
As the PC Path/Filename tab, it is displayed when you click Next on the Autoline Path/Filename tab for an API transfer, enabling you to specify the file on the PC.
As the Remote Path/Filename tab, it is displayed when you click Next on the Autoline Path/Filename tab for an FTP or a Copy transfer, enabling you to specify the file on the remote system.
It contains path and filename information relating to the file transfer.
Note: In the 'Sequence image' window, hashes can be entered to specify the numbers of digits to be used for the sequence numbering. For example an image of ### will allow numbers from 001 to 999 to be used.
Tip: You can leave this tab's fields blank to complete them when the record carries out a file transfer.
Path/directory: Location of the file
Tip: Click the Path/directory and/or the Filename ellipsis button
to select a value for each field.
Filename: Name of the file
Tip: To carry out a multiple file transfer where the files all have the same prefix, use a wildcard Filename specifier. For example, if a number of files all have the prefix test, enter test*.
PUSH BUTTONS:
